"identity cannot be verified" certificate for server invalid

I had to wipe and reinstall the OS [Yosemite] and am putting back the apps one by one = a tedious but necessary process == I got a warning that a server certificate is invalid etc. - I did not trust or approve it but want to know whether I can/should have - what gave me pause is that the details are that the country is RU, state Moscow, organization Parallels, Parallels Automation, parallels.com etc == I do not use Parallels = and don't feel good about any certificate with Moscow RU as the originator. Any ideas? This is with reference to a website created using Century Link's tools [a US phone company] and the URL is one I reserved at GoDaddy.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4), older 17"
